About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Planning Manager to join our team at the Wales Medicines Strategy Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving forward the implementation and delivery of our strategic objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to achieve our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize key initiatives and projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, department heads, and external partners.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to department heads and team leaders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategic plans and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and management, preferably in a healthcare or pharmaceutical industry setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, including current trends and challenges.
