About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Hobbycraft. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in managing and planning stock investment, maximizing availability, and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels, ensuring accurate forecasting and minimizing stock obsolescence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trading, distribution, finance, retail, and e-commerce operations, to drive supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead and motivate a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of supply chain objectives.
  • Analyze and interpret financial, sales, and commercial data to inform supply chain decisions and drive business improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems, including WSSI and stock budget management.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, with a strong background in demand planning and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive business improvement.
  • Experience with ERP, WMS, and allocation and replenishment systems.
  • Knowledge of WSSI and stock budget management within a retail environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and drive business-wide initiatives.
