Job Summary:

Randstad RIS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our supply chain operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of products throughout our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a Safe and Efficient Work Environment:
    • Ensure a safe and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
    • Participate in regular housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and clutter-free environment.
  • Picking and Packing:
    • Pick and pack products accurately and efficiently, meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
    • Verify product quantities and accuracy before packing and shipping.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Assist in receiving, storing, and retrieving inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
    • Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including warehouse staff, drivers, and management.
    • Communicate clearly and concisely with colleagues and management regarding inventory levels, product availability, and any issues or concerns.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience:
    • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg and stand for extended periods.
