We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Hobbycraft. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in managing and planning stock investment, maximizing availability, and exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage and optimize inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately forecasted and replenished to meet customer demand.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trading, distribution, finance, retail, and e-commerce operations, to drive supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements that meet the needs of the business.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge and expertise to drive continuous improvement and innovation in the supply chain.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, with a strong understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of supply chain professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, WMS, and allocation and replenishment systems.
- Experience in data manipulation and analytics, with the ability to interpret and present complex data insights.
