Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled lead physiotherapist to become a vital part of our team at Nuffield Health. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in delivering high-quality care within an inpatient environment.

Your role will encompass essential leadership qualities, including: mentoring junior staff, enhancing service delivery, developing and refining patient care pathways, innovative problem-solving, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Given the specialized clinical areas available, we require a physiotherapist with foundational experience in orthopaedics and critical care. You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills in areas where you may have less experience, supported by senior specialist physiotherapists.

Nuffield Health operates the City of London's only independent hospital, strategically located adjacent to a prominent NHS facility. This flagship center is dedicated to cardiac services and offers a comprehensive range of surgical and medical services, including orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology, and urology. Our facility features 55 beds, including 7 specialized intensive care beds, four state-of-the-art digital operating theatres, and a fully equipped diagnostic imaging suite.

Qualifications

Essential

  • BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council

Experience

Essential

  • Demonstrated post-qualification clinical experience in inpatient settings with a high standard of competence.
  • Significant experience in physiotherapy practice and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A willingness to engage in hospital initiatives beyond direct patient care, including pathway optimization and evaluation.
