Job Summary:

Cromwell Hospital is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team on a part-time basis, providing weekend and bank holiday coverage. As a Cardiothoracic Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for managing the physiotherapy needs of adult inpatients, including those with respiratory and cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide client-centred and evidence-based physiotherapy services to adult inpatients
  • Manage the physiotherapy needs of patients with varied respiratory and cardiac presentations
  • Monitor and provide appropriate physiotherapy services to the adult Intensive Care Unit
  • Liaise with nursing staff and assess or deal appropriately with new admissions
  • Provide assistance to other weekend colleagues as needed

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Proven broad experience in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, including acute respiratory, critical care, general surgery, and general medical caseloads
