London, Greater London, United Kingdom Nuffield Health Full time

Lead Inpatient Rehabilitation Specialist

Nuffield Health | Part-Time |

£44,500 - £51,000 pro rata, depending on experience

22.5 hours per week

As a prominent Healthcare Charity in the UK, we provide an opportunity for you to influence the highest standards in patient care. Here, you will have the necessary time to exemplify best practices and mentor your colleagues. Your exceptional communication abilities and proactive, innovative mindset will be highly valued.

We are seeking a seasoned rehabilitation specialist to become part of our team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid track record of independent work in inpatient environments, demonstrating a high level of proficiency. You will exhibit leadership qualities in various areas, including: supervision of junior staff, enhancement of service lines, development and refinement of care pathways, creative problem-solving, and excellence in customer service.

Given the clinical specialties available, we require a rehabilitation specialist with foundational experience in critical areas such as orthopaedics and critical care. You will have the chance to enhance your skills in areas where you may have less experience, with support from senior specialist colleagues.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A BSc in Physiotherapy or an equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • Proven clinical experience in inpatient settings, demonstrating a high standard of competence.
  • Significant post-qualification experience in physiotherapy delivery within a multidisciplinary team
  • A willingness to engage in hospital activities beyond direct patient care, such as pathway evaluation and optimization.
