Job Title: Junior Merchandiser

As a Junior Merchandiser at JD Group, you will play a key role in driving sales and revenue growth through effective trade and strategy execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review previous seasons and produce SWOT analysis with supporting information to inform future planning.
  • Create category-level product mix using history, SWOT, and SMT plan to optimize sales and revenue.
  • Work with the Senior Merchandiser to formulate space and grading plans for store distribution.
  • Ensure that the WSSI is updated with the buy plan and KPIs are signed off with the Senior Merchandiser.
  • Manage scheduling and Ideals for your area of responsibility to ensure seamless execution.
  • Attend key selection meetings with the Senior Merchandiser and Buyer to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Build the range plan and layout plans in conjunction with buying and visual merchandising teams.
  • Oversee ratios for all buys in conjunction with Assistant Merchandiser to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Establish working relationships with supplier base to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Manage order books and stock seasonality within the WSSI to ensure accurate information and efficient execution.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
