Major Gifts Research and Information Manager

Merrifield Consultants is proud to partner with CAFOD, a leading international development charity, to find an exceptional Major Gifts Research and Information Manager to join their Major Gifts and Philanthropy team.
About the RoleThe Major Gifts Research and Information Manager will play a critical role in supporting the Major Gifts and Philanthropy team in planning and reporting, ensuring income growth is focused on raising funds to achieve short and long-term organizational priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Research and Information Executive, ensuring concept notes, proposals, and reports are written for strategic work and that relationship managers are informed of projects in need of funding.
- Develop and maintain prospect research skills, understanding methodologies and research resources required to carry out research.
- Collaborate with the Trusts and Foundations Team to ensure income growth is focused on raising funds for strategic projects.
- Proven experience in writing donor proposals and securing funds for significant donations from Major Donors and corporates.
- Specialist prospect research skills and an understanding of research resources required to carry out research.
- A knowledge and awareness of international development and humanitarian aid, although not essential.
