Job Title: Research and Information Manager - Major Gifts and Philanthropy

Organisation: CAFOD

Reporting to: Head of Major Gifts and Philanthropy

Salary: £43,819 (inclusive of London weighting)

Contract: Full-Time Permanent

Location: South East London (SE1)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in writing donor proposals and securing funds for significant donations from major donors and corporates.
  • Specialist prospect research skills and an understanding of the methodologies and research resources required to carry out research.
  • A knowledge and awareness of international development and humanitarian aid is desirable.

About the Role:

The Research and Information Manager will play a critical role in supporting the Major Gifts and Philanthropy team in their fundraising efforts. This will involve managing the research and information executive, ensuring that concept notes, proposals, and reports are written for strategic projects, and providing information to relationship managers on projects in need of funding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement research strategies to identify potential donors and funding opportunities.
  • Manage the research and information executive, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Write high-quality concept notes, proposals, and reports to secure funding for strategic projects.
  • Provide information and analysis to relationship managers on projects in need of funding.
  • Collaborate with the Major Gifts and Philanthropy team to develop and implement fundraising strategies.
