Our client is the world's oldest international human rights organisation, working exclusively against slavery and related abuses. With a rich history dating back to 1839, they have a strong commitment to their mission and a proven track record of success.

About the Role

The Philanthropy Manager (Major Gifts & Foundations) will be responsible for developing and managing the organisation's individual major giving and trusts and major donor fundraising programme. This will involve securing five or six-figure+ multi-year restricted and unrestricted funding from high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and foundations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive major gifts and foundations strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior staff and donors
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including trusts and foundations
  • Manage and report on major gifts and foundations fundraising activity
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a demonstrable track record of securing significant funding from high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and foundations. You will also need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
