Major Gifts Research and Information Manager

Merrifield Consultants is proud to partner with CAFOD, a leading international development charity, to find an exceptional Major Gifts Research and Information Manager to join their Major Gifts and Philanthropy team.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work across the Major Gifts and Philanthropy team, as well as other departments, to drive income growth and support the organization's priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Research and Information Executive to ensure concept notes, proposals, and reports are written for strategic projects.
  • Provide research and intelligence to Major Gifts relationship managers to inform project funding needs.
  • Develop and maintain research resources and methodologies to support prospect research.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in writing donor proposals and securing significant donations from Major Donors and corporates.
  • Specialist prospect research skills and knowledge of research resources.
  • Awareness of international development and humanitarian aid is an asset.
