Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Integral UK. As a Site Based Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining all MEP systems on site, ensuring that they are functioning efficiently and effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

  • System Operations: Operate all MEP systems on site in a competent and confident manner, including MV/LV electrical isolations and operations. Make recommendations for improvement and provide concise technical reports when required.
  • Vendor Management: Ensure that specialist vendors service visits are completed efficiently, and the quality of work has been inspected and recommendations are communicated to the Integral Supervisor. This includes reviewing supplier RAMS ahead of visits and highlighting any concerns.
  • Health and Safety: Actively participate and complete health and safety compliance activities, such as hazard/near miss reporting and regular attendance/completion of scheduled toolbox talks.
  • Supply Chain Management: Liaise with the supply chain when ordering M&E components for remedial/corrective works.
  • Site Management: Take ownership of site, including all plant rooms, under Integral control, ensuring they are brought up to and maintained to the required show site standards.
  • Task Management: Efficiently and effectively complete elogbooks PPM/reactive tasks that have been allocated, ensuring that tasks have been acknowledged and completed within SLA.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in building services environments.
  • Electrical Engineering Qualifications: Electrical engineering apprenticeship or similar, C&G Pts. 1 & 2, equivalent or exceeds, 18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation.
  • Additional Skills: Simmtronic lighting control system understanding and/or proficiency, emergency lighting testing, fault reporting, and fault finding skills, elogbooks CAFM system use and experience or similar system.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication skills, proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation, ability to work under pressure, and excellent IT skills.
