Site Based Multi-Skilled Engineer Role at Integral UK Ltd

Integral UK Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join our team. This role involves maintaining and operating various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems across our sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficiently manage and operate all MEP systems on-site, including high-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical isolations and operations. Provide technical reports and recommendations for system improvements.
  • Ensure specialist vendor service visits are conducted efficiently and effectively. Verify the quality of work performed and communicate any findings or recommendations to the supervising engineer. This includes reviewing supplier risk assessments (RAMS) before visits and identifying potential concerns.
  • Actively participate in health and safety initiatives, such as hazard reporting, near-miss reporting, and toolbox talks. Maintain a commitment to safe working practices.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to order necessary M&E components for remedial or corrective work.
  • Take responsibility for the overall maintenance and upkeep of site facilities, including plant rooms, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Complete preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks assigned through elogbooks CAFM system or similar platforms. Ensure all tasks are acknowledged and completed within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in building services environments.
  • Electrical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience servicing fan coil units (FCUs).
  • City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2, or equivalent qualifications.
  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (ability to attain through additional training if you hold the 17th Edition).
  • Understanding and proficiency with Simmtronic lighting control systems.
  • Emergency lighting testing, fault reporting, and fault-finding skills.
  • Experience using elogbooks CAFM system or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
  • A proactive approach to achieving the highest standards of operation.
  • Proficient IT skills, including email communication with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm, clear-thinking, and delivering required services within given time constraints.
