Purpose and Context of the Role

The primary responsibility of this position is to serve as the main liaison for our Foodservice and B2B partnerships, overseeing daily operations and commercial strategies. This role is crucial for managing our existing client portfolio while also identifying and establishing new accounts within these sectors. It is essential to ensure that Oscar Mayer is dedicated to fulfilling all customer requirements. Tailored customer plans will be developed to achieve volume, revenue, and profit objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and nurture relationships with our B2B and Foodservice clients, acting as the principal contact for the Buyer.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of Oscar Mayer's capabilities and commercial strategies to identify further opportunities aligned with these strategies.
  • Foster internal collaborations across various functions to guarantee effective commercial execution.
  • Acquire knowledge of all site capabilities and processes, contributing to their development in response to customer needs.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Manage both internal and external communications to keep all stakeholders informed on relevant matters and activities.
  • Play a vital role in the category process as an essential member of the Oscar Mayer customer team.
  • Oversee key project timelines to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with the NPD Team to support the development pipeline through cost analysis and commercial submissions.
  • Ensure timely and complete management of internal and external requirements for product tenders.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to establish trading terms.
  • Gather and analyze critical commercial data and metrics necessary for financial proposals.
  • Accurately predict customer demand to ensure capacity meets customer requirements.
  • Work collaboratively to manage category cost reduction initiatives to unlock value throughout the process.
  • Provide regular and clear performance updates to the Director of Sales regarding outcomes and potential opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track record as a top-tier commercial professional with a strong enthusiasm for sales.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer-facing or account management role.
  • Background in managing UK Foodservice and B2B relationships, particularly in the chilled food sector.
  • Experience in conducting commercial negotiations and CPI recovery.
  • Effective communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
  • Familiarity with category management and consumer insights.
  • Natural ability to build relationships with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and engaging across all levels of the organization.
  • Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong numerical skills and analytical thinking, capable of converting data into actionable insights.
  • Highly organized and structured, proficient in managing time and priorities.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to influence outcomes positively.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
