Overview:

CITB is seeking a dedicated Curriculum Leader to oversee the management and delivery of our construction curriculum. This role involves leading a team of Curriculum Managers and ensuring that our educational offerings meet the needs of both our learners and the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of all aspects of curriculum management and delivery within designated departments.
  • Develop and implement a high-quality construction curriculum that aligns with industry standards and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Curriculum Delivery to enhance apprenticeship and industry skills programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant awarding bodies and funding requirements.
  • Conduct market analysis to inform curriculum planning and development.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key employers to enhance curriculum relevance.
  • Lead initiatives to improve teaching, learning, and assessment practices across the organization.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance against internal and external quality standards.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Background in construction with relevant qualifications.
  • Level 5 teaching qualification.
  • Experience in managing educational teams and operations.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful educational outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Desirable:

  • Higher Education Qualification in a relevant field.
  • Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification.
  • Experience as an Ofsted Inspector.
