As a Special Educational Needs Instructor, you will adopt an innovative approach to teaching, tailoring your methods to meet the diverse educational requirements of your students, ensuring effective delivery of the curriculum that fosters achievement and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality instruction, utilize resources effectively, and elevate learning standards in collaboration with educational leadership.
  • Teach a variety of skills and methodologies to ensure comprehensive curriculum delivery.
  • Enhance the overall educational provision with a positive impact across the institution.

Essential Knowledge and Skills

  • Understanding of strategies that support the education and personal development of students with special educational needs, including effective behavior management and positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Ability to implement the institution's vision, aims, and curriculum policies within classroom practices.
  • Familiarity with statutory curriculum requirements and assessment protocols for monitoring student progress.
  • Insight into high-quality teaching characteristics and strategies to maintain and improve educational standards.
  • Awareness of the implications of special educational needs legislation on teaching practices.

With a qualification at the Post Graduate Cert Ed/QTS level, you will exhibit qualities of calmness, engagement, resilience, and an innovative teaching style, driven by a commitment to help every student achieve their potential.
