About the Role:

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our team at ME+EM. As we continue to grow both domestically and internationally, we are embarking on a significant digital transformation initiative. This role offers the chance to be a pivotal part of our newly formed digital platform team, focusing on the design and implementation of robust test automation solutions.

The Digital Platform team is responsible for managing our customer-facing digital ecosystem, ensuring continuous improvement in a scalable and agile manner. The successful candidate will join our second autonomous squad, tasked with delivering exceptional customer experiences across our digital applications. A proven history of developing and maintaining automated test scripts for comprehensive web application testing is essential, along with strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for thorough end-to-end testing of our digital platform.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers to seamlessly integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Engage with Product Managers and Designers to grasp product requirements and create test cases that ensure thorough coverage.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues until resolution.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance the quality and maintainability of test scripts.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to pinpoint potential issues and areas for enhancement.
  • Continuously refine and optimize the test automation framework.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies in QA automation.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our development processes.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as a QA Automation Engineer or in a similar capacity.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages, particularly Javascript.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Jest and Playwright.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Vercel and GitHub Actions.
  • Understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of thriving in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience in the fashion or retail sector is advantageous.
