Your Role

As the first Quality Engineering Lead at Mimica, you will be instrumental in defining our testing methodologies and refining our release processes. You will lead the quality assurance initiatives for the Mimica Recorder, collaborating closely with developers to enhance our testing frameworks and ensure the dependability of our code releases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Improve our automation framework to support new features
  • Establish test strategies and implement test plans for ongoing releases
  • Create automated scripts to enhance testing efficiency
  • Work with cross-functional teams to set quality benchmarks
  • Convert user requirements into detailed test cases
  • Stay informed about QA automation best practices and technological advancements
  • Guide and mentor team members on testing practices and quality assurance

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience in QA Automation Engineering or SDET roles
  • Familiarity with automated testing of Windows desktop applications
  • Proficient in programming languages and the Microsoft .NET framework
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Dedication to upholding high engineering standards
  • Effective communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Appium or similar UI automation tools
  • Experience in enterprise environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Expertise in establishing Continuous Testing pipelines
  • Previous experience in dynamic startup settings
