About the Role:
Glen Callum Associates Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our UK sales team in the Engineering and Industrial Distribution sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in the MRO and Industrial Supplies markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision-makers in the Engineering Supplies and Industrial Distribution networks.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across non-automotive markets, including Engineering Supplies, Industrial Distribution, and MRO Supplies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sales targets and expand our market presence.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales leadership, with experience in the Engineering Supplies or Industrial Distributor networks.
- Strong knowledge of MRO supply chains and non-automotive Workshop Consumables supply.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- High level of IT literacy, particularly in presentation packages and analytical capabilities via Microsoft Excel.
- Flexible to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
