Position Overview

We are collaborating with a reputable Chartered Accountants firm seeking to enhance their team with an IT Support Specialist.

The organization is offering a competitive salary range of £30,000 to £33,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.

Proficiency in various Microsoft technologies is crucial, with a particular emphasis on MS Azure Cloud solutions, which are central to their operations.

Your role will involve providing comprehensive technical support across the organization, with responsibilities including:

  • Delivering internal helpdesk assistance for all software and hardware inquiries from personnel
  • Managing the installation and distribution of software and operating system updates
  • Configuring and setting up new desktops and laptops
  • Facilitating the onboarding of new users and processing leaver administration in line with HR protocols
  • Conducting routine network and desktop maintenance checks
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, escalating to external IT providers when necessary
  • Contributing to the creation and maintenance of system and process documentation
  • Supporting the IT Manager in upholding stringent security measures to safeguard IT systems against cyber threats

The essential IT competencies required for this position include:

MS Azure Cloud

MS Outlook messaging - including Mailbox configuration and Mimecast

MS Intune - encompassing hardware registration, maintenance, and antivirus management

Networking and Connectivity - understanding of TCP/IP and DHCP principles

Applicants should possess a minimum of two years of experience in a similar capacity within the Financial Services, Professional Services, or Corporate sectors.

This role necessitates on-site presence five days a week, and candidates should be able to commute easily.

Strong communication abilities, adaptability, and a proactive approach to various tasks will be essential attributes for success in this position.
