About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Break Charity. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to young people with complex needs, including those who have experienced trauma.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive living environment, adhering to our trauma-informed care principles.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.
  • Collaborate with our therapeutic services to provide a holistic approach to care.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people with complex needs, particularly those who have experienced trauma.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
