Job Summary:

Lorien, a leading public sector client, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Head of Waste Services. This is a 6-month contract opportunity that offers a competitive daily rate of up to £500 per day, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Direct the operational activities of the Waste Services department, ensuring compliance with statutory duties and legislation.
  2. Market Intelligence: Develop and maintain up-to-date market intelligence to identify opportunities and secure financially advantageous resources.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective relationships with elected representatives, including senior politicians, to ensure a strong understanding of their expectations and sensitivities.
