About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Waste Operative to join our team at bet365. As a key member of our waste management team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and environmental sustainability within our office grounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Sweeping and Litter Management
- Regularly sweep and clean the external grounds to ensure a safe and tidy environment.
- Empty bins and maintain a clean and organized waste management system.
- Grounds Maintenance
- Assist in maintaining the external environment, including occasional gardening responsibilities.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the Waste Management Supervisor.
- Health and Safety
- Approach the use and storage of chemicals and machinery in a safe and responsible manner.
- Follow guidelines involving the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Teamwork and Communication
- Work collaboratively with the waste management team to achieve common goals.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
- Basic IT Skills
- Awareness of COSHH
- Good Communication Skills
- Proactive Approach
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Understanding of Health and Safety Processes
