The Sport and UPS Department is a thriving department within the City of Portsmouth College. We are seeking a subject specialist to deliver on the L3 Elite Football programme.

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced individual to:

  • Teach on a range of programmes, providing high-quality learning opportunities that meet the needs of individual students/apprentices.
  • Provide flexible assessment opportunities and monitor, track and record student/apprentice retention, achievement, and success.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality, relevant curriculum and programmes, including:
    • Producing annual schemes of work and/or training plans for all subjects/programmes to be taught
    • UEFA B License to coach football, preferably working towards UEFA A
    • Teaching Qualification or willingness to work towards
    • Demonstrate a sound understanding of the technical, tactical and practical application of techniques associated with football
