Job Title: IT Assistant Manager - Mandarin Speaker

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Assistant Manager with Mandarin language skills to join our team at People First. As an IT Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our business departments, managing projects, and maintaining our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to our business departments, including developing and upgrading applications and functions.
  • Project Management: Manage projects related to our business system and internal management system.
  • Data Governance: Lead and support our branch's data governance work.
  • Information Security: Assist in supporting our branch's information security work and safeguarding our network against cybersecurity events.
  • IT Infrastructure: Support our branch's IT infrastructure, network, and system maintenance.
  • Research and Development: Assist in researching new technology and supporting the transfer of digitalization in our London branch.

Requirements:

  • Mandarin Language Skills: Fluent in Mandarin and English.
  • IT Experience: IT infrastructure/network/system maintenance/system administration experience in the UK.
  • Education: Degree holder in Computing and/or Engineering related fields.
  • Problem Solving: Independent problem-solving ability.
  • Keen to Learn: Keen to learn new skills and technology.
  • Project Management Experience: Preferable with project management experience.
  • Information Security Knowledge: Knowledge and experience on Information Security will be a bonus.
  • Database Knowledge: Knowledge on databases, such as MYSQL, MSSQL, will be a bonus.
  • VMWare and Windows/Linux Knowledge: Familiar with VMWare infrastructure and Windows/Linux operating system administration (and/or network engineering) will be a bonus.
