Job Description

Tiger Resourcing Group is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for projects in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain electrical system designs, including schematics, diagrams, and documentation.
  • Conduct electrical safety assessments and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturers to source electrical components and materials.
  • Develop and implement design for manufacture and testing (DFM/T) processes to ensure efficient and effective production.
  • Conduct experiments, analyze test data, and interpret results to optimize electrical system performance.
  • Generate and review design documentation, including bills of materials and component selection.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a senior electrical design engineer in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, including AC and DC systems, low voltage power and communication circuits, and electrical safety assessment.
  • Experience with electrical drawing software, preferably SolidWorks Electrical or similar.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, including BS EN 62368 and Military specs (DefStan), EMC and regulatory requirements (CE/UKCA), and ISO 9001 standard.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Experience:
  • Experience with RF design and computing infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of professional and process-driven methodologies.
