Job Description

Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary:

Tiger Resourcing Group is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for complex projects, including AC and DC systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain electrical design documentation, including schematics and bills of material.
  • Conduct electrical safety assessments and ensure compliance with IEC 62368 standards.
  • Work with electrical drawing software, preferably SolidWorks Electrical or similar.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry standards, including BS EN Standards and Military specs.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, including EMC and CE/UKCA standards.
  • Collaborate with the design authority to develop organizational capability.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in electrical design, including AC and DC systems.
  • Experience with electrical drawing software, preferably SolidWorks Electrical or similar.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, including BS EN Standards and Military specs.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements, including EMC and CE/UKCA standards.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with low voltage DC power and communication circuits.
  • Experience with low and medium voltage AC power systems.
  • Experience with electrical safety assessment against IEC 62368.
  • Experience with RF design and computing infrastructure.
