Our client, a leading company in the energy sector, is committed to creating a sustainable future through innovation and global collaboration. They are seeking a dedicated professional to join their team as a Supplier Quality Engineer.

**Job Summary**

The successful candidate will be responsible for improving and developing supplier processes to meet procurement and quality management goals. This includes training suppliers on requirements, analyzing their performance, and participating in improvement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement supplier quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Monitor and manage the safety, quality, and delivery performance of assigned suppliers using established metrics and KPIs.
  • Enhance supplier capabilities by fostering a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven management.
  • Collaborate with global functional departments to ensure effective communication and implementation of quality standards and initiatives.
  • Support and execute supplier qualification activities in line with global business management procedures.

**Requirements**

  • Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies such as 6 Sigma and 8D, and familiarity with 5S and Lean principles.
  • Strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, statistical analysis, and presentation software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to present and train effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of core manufacturing and inspection processes such as forging, fabrication, machining, coating, welding, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
  • Understanding of how industry and regulatory standards interact with customer requirements.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a diverse workload effectively.
  • Proven ability to lead and facilitate improvement projects.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO45001, and API Q1 audit processes, both as an auditor and an auditee.
