Job Description

**About the Role**

Escape Recruitment Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join our client's team in the energy sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company that values innovation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supplier quality processes to meet procurement and quality management objectives.
  • Train suppliers on quality requirements, analyze their performance, and participate in improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and manage supplier safety, quality, and delivery performance using established metrics and KPIs.
  • Enhance supplier capabilities by fostering a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven management.
  • Stay up-to-date with product requirements and effectively communicate quality standards and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with global functional departments with minimal supervision.
  • Utilize strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, statistical analysis, and presentation software.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of core manufacturing and inspection processes such as forging, fabrication, machining, coating, welding, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
  • Understand how industry and regulatory standards interact with customer requirements.
  • Be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to lead and facilitate improvement projects.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of quality management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and statistical analysis tools.
