Key Responsibilities
As a member of the healthcare team, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting clinical assessments and making informed decisions regarding patient management.
- Prescribing medications, regularly reviewing treatment plans, and overseeing repeat prescriptions.
- Serving as a specialized resource for other healthcare professionals and patients, actively participating in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications Required
- MBChB or MBBS degree.
- Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List.
- Evidence of participation in annual appraisal processes.
- Experience as a Primary Care Physician in community settings.
- Ability to engage with patients who have a history of substance misuse.
- RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or willingness to obtain these qualifications.
