Overview of the Position:

As a newly created role within our organization, the Profit Protection Specialist will play a crucial part in guiding and mentoring our onboard teams to ensure adherence to company protocols and procedures. The primary aim is to minimize losses while enhancing product availability on shelves. The Profit Protection function is strategically designed to contribute value and mitigate loss.

Compensation Package: Competitive salary, vehicle allowance, performance bonus, pension plan, life insurance coverage (4 times salary), health benefits, and 25 days of annual leave (including a holiday shutdown).

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement Stock Loss Improvement Plans tailored to effectively achieve stock loss reduction targets.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of stock loss in collaboration with key stakeholders, including Onboard Teams, Buyers, Area Managers, and Account Directors.
  • Collaborate with the Inventory Reconciliation team to analyze pertinent stock loss data.
  • Deliver targeted feedback and guidance to retail management teams following compliance audits conducted onboard.
  • Report the outcomes of compliance audits to the Retail Operations team.
  • Develop comprehensive improvement plans for retail management to enhance onboard stock standards.
  • Assist in the launch of new onboard retail locations by establishing essential operational standards.
  • Plan and oversee the engagement of third-party stock counting services as part of annual inventory counting objectives.

Candidate Profile:

  • Detail-oriented with a strong process-driven approach.
  • Proficient in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and stay away from home as required.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
