Job Title: Loss Prevention Specialist

Huboo is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team. As a Loss Prevention Specialist, you will play a critical role in minimizing the risk of loss and ensuring the profitability of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement emergency crisis plans for sites within your area of responsibility.
  • Conduct risk assessments on client stock to identify proactive and proportionate measures to minimize the risk of loss.
  • Work with the operations team to establish measures to minimize damage to client stock.
  • Collaborate with the Stock Investigations team to investigate lost stock.
  • Liaise with local law enforcement agencies.
  • Evaluate and evolve company policies to enhance Loss Prevention practices.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with security and Loss Prevention standards.
  • Interrogate stock systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Generate reports and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Stay up-to-date with local and international security and Loss Prevention risks.
  • Conduct interviews with colleagues to investigate suspected theft or policy breaches.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Security and Loss Prevention.
  • Understanding of Fire, Intruder, Access control, and CCTV systems.
  • Basic understanding of Employment Law, PACE, and GDPR.
  • Experience in detailed investigations relating to inventory systems.
  • Experience in conducting interviews with colleagues and third parties.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to understand different systems and client requirements.
  • Ability to write detailed investigation reports and complete Police MG11 documentation.
  • Experience working with law enforcement and emergency services.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Publisher software packages.
  • Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Confidence in communicating with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Full driving license and access to transport.
