Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement emergency crisis plans for sites within your area of responsibility.
  • Conduct risk assessments on client stock to identify and mitigate potential losses.
  • Collaborate with operations to establish proactive measures to minimize damage to client stock.
  • Work closely with the Stock Investigations team to investigate lost stock and identify root causes.
  • Liaise with local law enforcement agencies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Evaluate and enhance company policies to prioritize loss prevention and security.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with security and loss prevention protocols.
  • Interrogate stock systems to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Generate reports and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Stay up-to-date with local and international security and loss prevention risks.
  • Interview colleagues in cases of suspected theft or policy breaches, in accordance with relevant employment laws.
Requirements
  • Experience in security and loss prevention, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Understanding of fire, intruder, access control, and CCTV systems, including design standards and usage.
  • Basic knowledge of employment law, PACE, and GDPR.
  • Experience in detailed investigations related to inventory systems.
  • Ability to conduct interviews with colleagues and third parties to establish facts of loss, in line with employment and criminal laws.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to understand different systems and client requirements.
  • Strong report writing skills, with the ability to complete police reports (MG11 documentation) when necessary.
  • Experience working with law enforcement and other emergency services.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Publisher software packages.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Confidence in presenting information in a respectful manner.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive matters.
  • Full driving license and access to transportation.
