Loss Prevention Specialist

Huboo is a leading e-commerce fulfillment company that requires a proactive individual to join our team as a Loss Prevention Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of emergency crisis planning for sites within the area of responsibility.
  • Undertake risk assessments on clients' stock to implement proactive and proportionate measures to minimize the risk of loss.
  • Work with the operations team to establish proactive and proportionate measures to minimize damage to clients' stock.
  • Collaborate with the Stock Investigations team to investigate lost stock.
  • Liaise with local law enforcement agencies.
  • Evaluate company policies to enhance Loss Prevention practices.
  • Conduct audits related to Security and Loss Prevention.
  • Interrogate stock systems.
  • Generate reports and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Stay aware of local and international security and Loss Prevention risks.
  • Interview colleagues in cases of suspected theft or policy breaches, in line with relevant employment laws.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Security and Loss Prevention.
  • Understanding of Fire, Intruder, Access control, and CCTV systems from a minimum design standard and usage.
  • Basic understanding of Employment Law, PACE, and GDPR.
  • Experience in detailed investigations related to inventory systems.
  • Experience in conducting interviews with colleagues and third parties to establish the facts of loss, in line with Employment and Criminal Laws.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to understand different systems and client requirements.
  • Ability to write detailed investigation reports and, where possible, complete Police MG11 documentation.
  • Experience of working/liaising with Law enforcement and other emergency services.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Publisher software packages.
  • Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Confidence to express opinions in a respectful manner.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive matters.
  • Full driving license and access to transport.
