Job Title: Recovery Worker

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to work with our team in Slough, supporting rough sleepers and vulnerable individuals in their recovery journey. As a Recovery Worker, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients, conducting assessments, developing personalized recovery plans, and providing support to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical risk and needs assessments to identify client needs and develop effective support plans
  • Provide specialist substance use outreach support, including weekly evening outreach, drop-in services, and early morning outreach
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams, including housing, health care, and social services, to ensure comprehensive support for clients
  • Write reports and maintain accurate records to track client progress and outcomes
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of the recovery agenda and experience working with vulnerable populations. You should have excellent communication and IT skills, as well as the ability to work flexibly and independently. Experience in delivering brief interventions and harm reduction strategies is highly desirable.
