Ramsay Health Care is seeking a dedicated Hospital Maintenance Engineer to enhance our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance with legal standards through scheduled preventative maintenance and responsive repairs throughout the facility.
  • Provide engineering maintenance and emergency support to ensure the hospital operates smoothly.
  • Deliver expert Technical, Health, Safety, and Environmental guidance and assistance.
  • Supervise and mentor the engineering team in executing their responsibilities effectively.
  • Analyze fault logs and assign suitable resources to tasks within your area of oversight.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in managing maintenance operations.
  • Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds Part 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4, or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of Legionella prevention protocols in healthcare settings.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, especially in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Proficient in fault diagnosis and resolution techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in AP / MGPS Medical Gases.
  • Training in AP / D Decontamination.
  • IOSH Health and Safety / Risk Assessment certification.
  • L8 / ACOP Legionella training.
