We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Hospital Sterilisation and Disinfection Unit Technician. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Supply and maintenance of surgical instruments used in surgical and medical procedures
- Checking, cleaning, disinfecting, packaging, sterilising and delivering instruments to operating theatres, wards, departments, clinics and GP surgeries
- Working in a production environment and as part of a team to achieve high-quality results
- Good standard of education with literacy and numeracy skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to read small letters on instruments and follow written instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- High standards, genuine interest in healthcare and patient safety, and ability to deliver high-quality work
