An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hospital Sterilisation and Disinfection Unit Technician to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.
This is a fully flexible job role, and shift patterns may be changed at short notice.
Key Responsibilities- Supply and maintenance of surgical instruments used in surgical and medical procedures.
- Check, clean, disinfect, package, sterilise, and deliver instruments to operating theatres, wards, departments, clinics, and GP surgeries.
- Good standard of education with literacy and numeracy skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read small letters on instruments and follow written instructions.
