Our organization collaborates closely with various Local Authorities throughout the UK, providing award-winning services aimed at combating anti-social behavior (ASB) in public spaces. Many of our former team members have successfully transitioned into roles within local councils, law enforcement, or other emergency services, and we are continuously on the lookout for exceptional individuals to join our expanding team of Environmental Compliance Officers.

As an Environmental Compliance Officer, you will be empowered by the Local Authority to investigate issues such as illegal dumping, enforce regulations, and identify ASB violations. Your responsibilities will include educating offenders and addressing infractions like littering, dog fouling, or cycling in restricted areas, often through the issuance of Fixed Penalty Notices.

What to expect as a Team Leader in our Environmental Compliance Team:

You will oversee the effective management of your team, setting a positive example in all interactions. Your role will involve engaging with the public through patrols in both urban and rural settings, whether on foot or in a company vehicle. You will address individuals observed committing offenses and strive to foster positive behavioral changes within the community. Acting with fairness and integrity, you will uphold the values of our organization while contributing to the creation of cleaner, greener environments.

  • While you will be responsible for issuing Fixed Penalty Notices, there are no individual performance targets; the focus is on fostering positive behavior change.
  • You will tackle anti-social behavior and gather evidence that may support criminal prosecutions.
  • As a Team Leader, you will ensure that evidential quality standards are upheld and that our services meet client expectations.
  • Providing exceptional customer service will be a priority, ensuring that you and your team maintain high levels of public trust.

Full-time Salary: £29,120 per annum
