About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Environmental Enforcement Officer to join our team at District Enforcement Ltd. As an Environmental Enforcement Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patrols of urban and rural areas to identify and address environmental issues such as littering, fly tipping, and anti-social behaviour.
  • Investigate and enforce duty of care, and detect ASB offences, using designated powers granted by the Local Authority.
  • Issue Fixed Penalty Notices to offenders and provide education and guidance to prevent future incidents.
  • Work collaboratively with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders to promote a cleaner and safer environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and provide regular reports to management.
What You'll Need
  • A Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Basic knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations, with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
