Job Summary

NIC Instruments Limited is seeking a highly skilled Production Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing team and drive process improvements. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring efficiency, and implementing best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and company goals.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of 10-15 staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, monitor stock levels, and implement just-in-time inventory systems.
  • Supply Chain Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and components.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve processes and operations.
Requirements
  • Education: At least an HND, preferably a degree, in a related engineering or manufacturing subject.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on production planning, team management, and process improvement.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in production planning software and CNC machine tools.
  • Qualifications: ISO9001 certification and experience with quality control systems.
