Job Title: Control Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Getlink. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing assigned projects within the Real-Time Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintaining and Managing Projects: You will be responsible for maintaining and managing assigned projects within the Real-Time Systems, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  2. Supporting System Evolution: You will support the replacement and major evolutions of the real-time systems as part of the future migration, getting involved in the different phases of the project, including definition of specifications, monitoring of the project, tests, implementation, and final commissioning.
  3. Managing Outages: You will manage and analyze outages to ensure systems are operating at agreed performance levels.
  4. Providing Technical Support: You will assist other Control System Engineers, telecommunications, and control systems experts, and the signalling maintenance team with technical support and provide second-line internal support in diagnostic, testing, and recommissioning situations.
  5. Staying Up-to-Date: You will carry out technical monitoring by keeping abreast of the evolution of technologies in all aspects of real-time automated industrial systems.

Requirements:

  1. Engineering Degree: You must have an engineering degree in electrical, electronic, computer science, and automation, or equivalent experience.
  2. Technical Skills: You must have experience in administering Windows Servers/PCs, AD, and VMware, as well as programming experience.
  3. Project Experience: You must have experience of transversal work in 'project' mode.
  4. Driving Licence and Passport: You must have a valid driving licence and passport.
