Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Account Handler to join our team at STRIDE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT LTD. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance broking and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring optimal coverage and risk management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
  • Negotiate with insurers to obtain the best terms for clients, ensuring competitive pricing and coverage.
  • Handle policy renewals, amendments, and claims efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to clients' businesses.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company procedures, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar insurance broking role, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and insurers.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Communicate with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Liaise with insurers to obtain quotes and coverage options, ensuring optimal pricing and coverage.
  • Review policy documents and provide advice to clients, ensuring they understand their coverage and risk exposure.
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and cancellations, ensuring minimal disruption to clients' businesses.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver outstanding client service, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
