Job Summary

Gilead Sciences, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Global HIV Medical Affairs team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the annual HIV Global Medical Affairs digital plan, ensuring regular communication with GMA HIV teams, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the annual HIV Global Medical Affairs digital plan, aligning with the company's overall strategy and goals.
  • Ensure regular communication with GMA HIV teams to stay abreast of the HIV landscape and key priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Global Strategic Marketing, Global Public Affairs, and Global Legal, to ensure a consistent strategy and aligned planning.
  • Develop and execute HIV Global Medical Affairs Plans of Action in alignment with respective Indication Strategic Plans.
  • Maintain regular communication with G9 MA teams in affiliates to ensure knowledge of local needs and appropriate digital educational tools.
  • Attend major conferences and coordinate global medical affairs activities, implementing the X-functional digital strategy.
  • Organize and support the execution of Medical Educational initiatives.
  • Manage projects to completion, anticipating obstacles and difficulties, and resolving them in a collaborative and compliant manner.
  • Assist in the medical review and certification of branded and unbranded materials developed by HIV global teams.

Requirements
  • MD, PharmD, DO, or PhD degree with at least 5 years of experience in HIV Infection.
  • Knowledge of developing omnichannel approaches to consistent and cohesive customer experiences.
  • Proven experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed structure.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
