Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Director/Director, Global HIV Medical Affairs. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing the annual HIV Global Medical Affairs digital plan, ensuring regular communication with GMA HIV teams, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver digital tools and educational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Digital Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive digital strategy for HIV Global Medical Affairs, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Global Strategic Marketing, Global Public Affairs, and Global Legal teams to ensure a consistent strategy and aligned planning.
  • Communicate with GMA HIV Teams: Maintain regular communication with GMA HIV teams to stay abreast of the HIV landscape and key priorities.
  • Develop and Execute Plans of Action: Collaborate in the development and execution of HIV Global Medical Affairs Plans of Action in alignment with respective Indication Strategic Plans.
  • Manage Projects and Resources: Manage projects to completion, anticipating obstacles and difficulties, and resolving them in a collaborative and compliant manner.
  • Exhibit Core Values: Demonstrate Gilead's core values of integrity, teamwork, accountability, excellence, and inclusion in accordance with the highest ethical and compliance standards.
Requirements
  • HIV-Specific Knowledge and Experience: Proven experience in HIV infection, with a strong understanding of the HIV landscape and key priorities.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to think strategically and align medical, public health, and commercial strategies, with a strong understanding of technology and omnichannel approaches.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative, cross-functional environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Education and Experience: Preferred MD, PharmD, DO, or PhD degree with at least 5 years of experience in HIV infection, with a proven track record of success in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries.
