Role Overview: The expansion of our global operations has led to a complex landscape of tax regulations, resulting in over 2,000 indirect tax registrations across 75 countries and more than 35,000 indirect tax filings annually.

We are in search of a Manager to join our Indirect Tax Compliance Automation team, which is a vital part of our Indirect Tax Compliance division. This role is pivotal in revolutionizing our compliance processes by dissecting current methodologies, evaluating them, enhancing, automating, and reconstructing them to leverage technology effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform compliance operations by maximizing technology utilization.
  • Collaborate with compliance teams to identify their needs and design innovative compliance tools and processes.
  • Facilitate the adoption of existing technology solutions to optimize compliance efforts.

We are looking for a seasoned professional in indirect tax technology to help us tackle these challenges on a global scale. Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in indirect tax (VAT/GST) within a public accounting firm, major law firm, or corporate environment.
  • At least 6 years of experience with indirect tax software aimed at automating compliance processes.
  • Proficiency in desktop data analytics and technology tools, including Alteryx and Excel VBA.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Tax, Business, Finance, or a related field.

Desired Skills:

  • Extensive experience with international VAT in advisory or compliance roles.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing milestone-driven projects.
