Position Summary
We are in search of a skilled Manager to become a part of our Indirect Tax Compliance Automation team, which operates within the broader Indirect Tax Compliance framework. This role is pivotal in revolutionizing our compliance processes by dissecting current methodologies, evaluating them, enhancing efficiency, automating tasks, and reconstructing workflows to leverage technology effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive the transformation of compliance practices by identifying areas for improvement and implementing technological solutions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maximize the utilization of existing technology and develop new automation tools.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource in indirect tax technology, addressing global compliance challenges.
- Assess and articulate the technological requirements necessary for effective tax compliance solutions.
- Maintain a dual focus on indirect tax compliance and tax technology, ensuring a comprehensive approach to process enhancement.
- Contribute to the long-term strategic vision of the organization by thinking innovatively and strategically.

Basic Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in indirect tax (VAT/GST) within a public accounting firm, major law firm, or corporate environment.
- At least 6 years of experience utilizing indirect tax software to streamline compliance processes.
- Proficiency in desktop data analytics and technology tools, including Alteryx and Excel VBA.

Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Taxation, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability for work with minimal oversight.
- Proven ability to effectively manage milestone-driven projects.
