The Role: As a Retail Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in our store leadership team, driving the overall success of the store by promoting exceptional customer service standards, mentoring and developing team members, and ensuring that daily business operations are executed flawlessly. You will maintain a strong presence on the sales floor, demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills, and embody Mejuri's core values. Customer Experience:

  • Facilitate a memorable and personalized customer service experience that fosters a connection to the Mejuri brand and aims to surpass customer expectations.
  • Expertly implement and coach others on our Selling Programs.
  • Remain well-informed and knowledgeable about all Mejuri products and recent launches.
  • Assist the team in executing various customer-centric initiatives and nurturing relationships.

Sales:

  • Ensure that all key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met, taking ownership of delivering strong results while focusing on both team and individual objectives.
  • Maintain operational processes that positively influence sales, reduce expenses, and enhance overall business performance.
  • Collaborate with the management team to brainstorm and develop new sales opportunities that drive traffic and engage clients.
  • Enhance business through clienteling, sourcing new customers, and cultivating existing customer relationships.
  • Oversee sales floor operations, providing real-time coaching and feedback to support the sales team.
  • Offer critical insights and make daily recommendations.

Operations:

  • Support all operational workflows and uphold standard operating procedures, including but not limited to: store opening/closing, merchandise management, sales floor oversight, and employee management to ensure daily business requirements are met.
  • Facilitate all transaction types within our OMNI business, ensuring exceptional service for purchases, returns, exchanges, and other transactions.
  • Manage inventory tasks, including shipping, receiving, and inventory transfers.
  • Collaborate with store management to identify opportunities for improving daily operations.
  • Ensure that the physical store environment is maintained to the highest standards.

Visual Merchandising:

  • Partner with the Visual Lead to analyze key performance indicators and monitor stock levels to create an effective sales environment and determine actionable steps to enhance sell-through.
  • Assist the Visual Lead during the implementation of retail campaigns.
  • Follow up on execution deadlines for key visual merchandising initiatives to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Support the daily maintenance of visual displays and product presentation.
  • Report any damaged display products or tools to the Visual Lead.
  • Provide feedback to the Visual Lead regarding gaps and opportunities.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in a high-volume retail environment.
  • Adaptability with the ability to think creatively and quickly.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Critical thinking skills to identify potential challenges and develop action plans.
  • Physical requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability to work outside of regular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
