About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Customer Service Advisor to join our Collections team in Solihull. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to customers experiencing financial difficulties, as well as those who have experienced a Repayment Event.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide sensitive and complex customer service, handling situations with empathy and sympathy.
  • Act as a point of escalation for customer queries and concerns.
  • Accurately and effectively administer mortgage business to ensure we operate within agreed service levels.
  • Collate and analyse relevant information to make informed decisions, including reference to the Line Manager.
  • Protect all interest parties from fraudulent acts by conducting transactions within approved financial limits and guidelines.
  • Use customer feedback and data to improve working practices and highlight opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (including Mathematics and English).
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience of working with direct customer interaction, either face-to-face or by phone.
  • Previous experience working in financial services preferred.
